Join Bolton u3a
You can join Bolton u3a in person, by post, or online.
It costs £20.00 per person for annual membership.
If you join between 1st June and 30th September, the fees are £8.00.
If you are already a member of another u3a, the annual membership fee is reduced to £16.00
The membership year of Bolton u3a is from 1st October to 30th September.
Please note that membership costs have not increased since 2017! As prices have soared since then, we will be introducing a subscription increase increase to take effect in October 2026

- insurance coverage when taking part in our organised groups and activities
- access to newsletters
- the option to also receive the national u3a magazine 'Third Age Matters' delivered to your door
- You can also opt in to nationally-provided events, both face to face and online.
Note that our local activities charge a small session rate (£2) in addition to your membership joining fee, and that this covers room costs, refreshments and where applicable, materials
